Viola Davis, Rian Johnson to Obtain Hamilton Behind the Digicam Awards

Viola Davis and Rian Johnson are amongst these being honored on the twelfth annual Hamilton Behind the Digicam Awards.

The awards will probably be held on Nov. 5 at Avalon Hollywood on Vine and author, actor and comic Fortune Feimster will host the ceremony, which pays tribute to the good behind-the-camera expertise of the 12 months’s most acclaimed movies.

Honorees and presenters are chosen from movies launched through the 12 months and/or that certified and introduced on the Cannes, Toronto or Venice movie festivals.

Movies and creatives to be awarded this 12 months embrace author Rebecca Lenkiewicz for “She Stated,” introduced by Carey Mulligan; “The Girl King ” producers Cathy Schulman, Viola Davis and Julius Tennon will obtain their honors from the movie’s director Gina Prince-Bythewood and actor Thuso Mbedu; Taylor Russell will current the award to director Luca Guadagnino for “Bones and All;” set decorator Karen O’Hara for “The Fabelmans,” introduced by Paul Dano; editor Eddie Hamilton in addition to the sound designer/supervising sound editor Al Nelson for “High Gun: Maverick,” introduced by Jay Ellis and Monica Barbaro; director Rian Johnson will obtain the Visionary Award for “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Thriller,” introduced by Kathryn Hahn; visible results supervisor Guillaume Rocheron for “Nope,” introduced by Jordan Peele; costume designer Marci Rodgers for “Until,” introduced by Jalyn Corridor and Frankie Faison; property grasp Guillaume DeLouche for “Thor: Love and Thunder,” introduced by Jaimie Alexander; cinematographer Ben Smithard for “The Son”; manufacturing designer Ethan Tobman for “The Menu,” and lastly the Craft Achievement Award to cinematographer Luc Montpellier, costume designer Quita Alfred, manufacturing designer Peter Cosco, and editor Christopher Donaldson for “Girls Speaking,” introduced by director Sarah Polley.

Earlier winners have included Darren Aronofsky for “Jackie,” David O’Russell for “American Hustle,” Barry Jenkins for “Moonlight,” Justin Hurwitz for “La La Land,” Sandra Adair for “Boyhood,” and Robbie Brenner and Rachel Winter for “Dallas Consumers Membership,” amongst others.
