Sean Connery Household Establishes Basis To Honor Actor’s Legacy – Deadline

Two years after the passing of legendary actor Sean Connery, the Connery household has introduced the institution of The Sean Connery Basis. Created by his property, the inspiration seeks to honor the Oscar winner and unique James Bond’s legacy via strategic grant making to establishments and organizations in Scotland and The Bahamas, the 2 international locations he known as residence. Connery died within the Bahamas in 2020 at age 90.

Already earmarked as recipients of grants this 12 months are St. Andrews College’s Scottish Oceans Institute, the Scottish Youth Movie Basis, the Scottish Worldwide Schooling Belief, Dyslexia Scotland, Lyford Cay Foundations, Bahamas Reef Environmental Academic Basis, The Cape Eleuthera Basis, Lady Rising and SWIFT Swimming.
