Nio opens first battery swap station in Germany (NYSE:NIO)

Nio (NYSE:NIO) has opened its first battery swap station in Germany earlier than it formally enters the market on Oct 07, 2022.
Positioned in Zusmarshausen, the battery swap station was constructed below a partnership between NIO and charging parks operator Sortimo.
The ability is the scale of two garages and can later be designed for as much as 312 swaps/day. As much as 13 batteries are charged from 40 kW to 80 kW in a grid- and battery-friendly method that doesn’t trigger typical grid peaks, NIO mentioned.
