Nicolas Cage to tackle ferocious creatures in survival thriller

Six years after working with director Ben Brewer on the crime thriller The Belief, Nicolas Cage – who’s each the star of Nationwide Treasure and a nationwide treasure himself – has signed on to re-team with Brewer on the survival thriller Sand and Stones. Filming is ready to start in November in Dublin, Eire.

Cage is producing the movie via his firm Saturn Movies, alongside Nilon, Braxton Pope, David Wulf of Redline Leisure, and Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier of Highland Movie Group. Aperture’s Slava Vladimirov, Jared Underwood, and Andrew Robinson function govt producers. Highland Movie Group is co-financing the venture and dealing with the world rights.
