A.R. Rahman, Vijay Sethupathi,Group on Silent Movie ‘Gandhi Talks’

Vijay Sethupathi (“Vikram”), Aditi Rao Hydari (“Hey Sinamika”), Arvind Swamy (“Thalaivi”) and Siddharth Jadhav (“Tamasha Dwell”) will star in movie “Gandhi Talks.”

Whereas plot particulars are underneath wraps, the movie is described as a darkish comedy. A teaser for the movie was launched on Oct. 2, the delivery anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The movie can be dialogue free and the one aural language would be the music by Oscar-, BAFTA- and Grammy- successful Indian composer A.R. Rahman (“Slumdog Millionaire”). Will probably be directed by Kishore P. Belekar (“Hajari”).

Produced by Zee Studios (“36 Farmhouse”), ‘Gandhi Talks’ is co-produced with Kyoorious Digital (“420 IPC”) and Film Mill Leisure (“Respect”).

Belekar mentioned: “Silent movie shouldn’t be a gimmick. It’s a type of storytelling. Conveying feelings by switching off the gadget of dialogue shouldn’t be solely scary but in addition attention-grabbing and difficult.”

Belekar’s “Respect” is at the moment in post-production.

Sethupathi, who hosted the Tamil-language model of “MasterChef,” has “Jawaan” arising alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Hydari has ZEE5 collection “Taj: Royal Blood” and Amazon Prime Video collection “Jubilee” within the works, whereas Swamy’s “Sathuranga Vettai 2” is due an October launch.

“Gandhi Talks” will launch worldwide in 2023.
